Very powerful work, Shelley. I just-after 3 years-saw your comment, and followed your thread to your work. Your work is what the Therapy of Art is all about, and I am an Art Therapist! Doing art is obviously therapeutic for you. This piece reminds me of a story that I read in a scifi book a long time ago, about where our ancestors exist...they never died, they just became older and diminuated, and they are all nestled one next to the other, in an ancestral cave somewhere, and they are there, influencing us from a long distance away.
