Trunk Space, "Booked: Contemporary Literary Art" show

In this show artists make art inspired by literature.  I picked the book "Ripple" by Dave Cooper. In the book a male artist gets an ugly girl as his model. He becomes attracted to her and she becomes his muse. He changes his ideas of beauty.

Joseph Smith series

Joseph Smith has always been an enigma to me. In this series he is wearing masks. Do we really know him? I was inspired by John Singelton Copley's pictures of curtains and a classical background.
